How it Works

Anyone living with cancer who lives, or is registered with a GP Practice, in Larbert or Stenhousemuir can use the services of Home 2 Hospital charity. We offer a free service providing drivers to take cancer patients to attend their hospital appointment or treatment sessions.
  1. Simply call our co-ordinator on 07826 878942, email us at admin@home2hospital.org or complete the contact us form. 
  2. The co-ordinator will get in touch to obtain details about you and your appointments in order to allocate a driver for your appointment journey.
  3. You will be informed in advance details of the driver for your appointments, including details of their car make, colour and registration number, also their contact details, so you know what to expect.
  4. The day before your appointment, the driver will contact you to arrange a time to collect you.
  5. On the appointment day, the driver will arrive at the agreed time and take you to the hospital, leaving you either at the hospital entrance or the drop-off point in the car park.  The driver will tell you where he/she will collect you and give you a card with their phone number to allow you to contact them should your appointment end early or be likely to last longer than originally thought. 
  6. When the appointment is over, the driver will bring you straight home.
